a little red is a specific art project by artist Victoria Ward. It is a text based work that will also have several exhibitions in Ontario in 2013 and in the UK in 2014.

a little red is a manifesto in fairy tale form. A mash up of the story Little Red Riding Hood and the writings of Karl Marx, a little red ruminates on the history and current ideas surrounding capitalism and greed. a little red is a published chapbook by Pointyhead Press.

Last year a little red was read/performed at Nuit Blanche 2011 in Toronto. The Globe and Mail picked it as one of the best bets for the night.

Since this project is ongoing, this site will be changing as I make work and discover things.
